You should be able to vote online in public elections. The US is  behind on this trend. We should be as progressive  as Estonia, which is now using the Internet  for public elections. Estonia ensures that every citizen has Internet access. Voting over the Internet will be;

- More  accessible for voters with disabilities
- Fast
- Secure
- Accurate
- Less expensive
- a positive for citizen involvement
- a positive in helping to bridge the digital divide

      Internet voting is not accurate, secure or less expensive. It can and has been hacked at the drop of a hat. I don't want some Russian or Chinese kid to be able to hack our elections from his parent's garage!

      Archaic voting practices are costly, inefficient, and rely heavily on volunteers who can spend all day working the polls (usually the retired elderly). Why not instead use a system designed solely for the near-instantaneous transport of information?

      This makes perfectly good sense

      Because there are people that are disabled or afraid to go out side their homes that want to vote and cannot exercise their rights to vote.
