I truly believe in this petition, and I'm sure it'll work out. I think that violence in rated M video games/ 18+ rated games are COMPLETELY unnecessary! It's absolutely stupid for game developers to do such things. They don't ever think about these kind of things over, do they? It's not like there's something there to warn us parents about such content..

As a parent, I feel it is the responsibility of these game developers to limit the amount of violence in these mature games. What is to stop my child from recreating the same violent actions in the games I buy them? Certainly not me. What? Am I supposed to control them or something? That's child abuse.

I recently was out at Wal-Mart with my 9-year old son. He told me that he wanted this game, Call of Duty. I completely disregarded the box and everything on it, and let him have it, even though it clearly said that it was rated M. As I got home, I went to the kitchen to make dinner. After dinner was ready, I went to get my son, but he was calling a bunch of other kids online fags, and killing characters on the screen in violent ways. I could not stand for it. Why would this game, meant for mature adults, have this violence to expose to my kids!?!? I can not stand for this.
