Native Americans were forced to walk the Trail of Tears, a time when they were ridiculed, humiliated and died. They were not allowed food or water and at times, literally dropped dead. This moment in history is mocked at the McAdory High School football game in  McCalla, Alabama and no one said anything about it. It was simply "a joke" to the students and to the student administrators. Sixty thousand people died on that forced march and this is the subject of laughter and ridicule at high school football games. Indian Removal Act of 1830 and the death of over thousands Native Americans is not a joke.

Sign this petition telling McAdory High School that this banner is racist, and brutal and to take responsibility to punish those who even thought of this banner. Not only that, but to issue an apology to the Native Americans and even their opposig football team, for putting up the banner.

To laugh at the death of thousands of HUMAN BEINGS is beyond atrocious.

It promotes the ongoing bastardization of the American Indian culture and history and promotes the continuing racism toward all First Nations people.

I'm part East TX. Cherokee and proud of it. My ancestors arrived in Texas at the end of the Trail of Tears. Teach your NY Guidos some respect.
