Petition to Immediately Drop All Charges Against the Chicago Occupiers

"I am signing this petition to demand that all of the charges be dropped immediately on all of the Occupy Chicago protesters, especially, though not limited to, those who were arrested en masse on Sunday, October 16 and Sunday, October 23.

It should not be a crime to peacefully assemble in our city to demand that money be spent on human needs and not for massive corporate bailouts and tax breaks. The real criminals are in the boardrooms and executive offices, not the people protesting for jobs, healthcare, and a moratorium on foreclosures.
By signing this petition I show my support and solidarity with Occupy Chicago and their demand for a permanent encampment."

Because it's their right to protest, my right to sign, but nobody's right to take over what our taxes have paid for.

The US Constitution demands rights, lawful assembly is directly specified therein. Read it Mr. Rahm. The city of Chicago lies under the jurisdiction of federal laws, and all federal laws are based on the US Constitution. Arresting US citizens on pretentious charges under municipal ordinances aimed at non-lawful or riotous unruly crowds, not the law abiding US Citizens now miss-represented as criminal under your grievousness authority, is in fact a federal offense. Matters will be taken to a federal level in a very inconvenient manor should you mistakenly fail to act in a lawful manor under US Constitutional law, rights and procedures within US federal jurisdictions.

      This is not a request.

Supporting CJ causes: the Sacramento Sheriff's dept is concealing a likely hate crime by refusing to investigate allegations filed under the penal code. Tell these cops they are not above the law and for the Pillbury Dough Boys to do their jobs.

Because police is suppose to protect its citizens when they've been forged by any business or individual. If police won't do this roll then its authority is irrelevant.
