Help save Buck and Bill

We, the undersigned, do hereby pledge to boycott all travel to and shopping in Manatee county until the abuse and neglect of Buck and Bill is corrected.  Manatee County Animal Services is denying access to the dogs to their owner, the dogs are lying in their own excrement, have contracted mange during their stay with the county, along with several other health issues that have arisen since they were taken into custody.  If the owner were allowed to take the dogs home, they would be over 200 miles away and not even be in the county's jurisdiction. The sheriff's department will not launch an investigation into animal cruelty until the case is over, by which time, Buck and Bill will be dead.  If you are as outraged by this abuse of power as I am, avoid Manatee County this winter.  Hit them where it hurts.

No one, human nor animal, should be treated in the horrific way. They have already decided the outcome and are cruelly carrying out their punishment. They need to be relieved of duty for incompetence and abuse of power. So sorry Buck and Bill. R.I.P.

I love animals, and the kid did not suffer permanent damage as a result of this. And I question, with the dogs' history, if the kid did not somehow provoke this.

Buck and Bill have no history of aggressive behavior and the incident in question occurred under extraordinary circumstances which should have been taken into account considering their heroic character and protective nature, along with the fact that even the family of the boy, whose injury was not serious, stated that what happened was an ACCIDENT and that these dogs should NOT be killed. Why was so much relevant evidence dismissed in favor of carrying out these death sentences? Judge Farrance has no soul and hopefully he will be held accountable for sanctioning the senseless murder and incineration of Buck and Bill, including refusing the grieving family the chance to respectfully bury their beloved companion animals' remains. Someday this heartless judge will know what it is like to burn when his time comes and he must answer for his actions in condemning these dogs to death.
