80% of cats brought into the animal shelters in Lake County are killed. That's 14-16 cats PER DAY! This is inhumane, unnecessary, cruel and shameful.

REALLY MARY? IT'S NOT YOUR PROBLEM?? IN CASE YOU HADN'T NOTICED, EUSTIS IS PART OF LAKE COUNTY!!

BY IGNORING THE PROBLEM YOU ARE PERSONALLY KILLING 14-16 ANIMALS PER DAY!

HEY VOTERS!! REMEMBER THIS WHEN IT'S TIME TO ELECT NEW CITY, COUNTY AND STATE OFFICIALS!!

TOMORROW I'm taking my message to local community officials, shelters/rescues and vet offices in Lake County!! I'll be passing out flyers, shouting my message from rooftops, gathering support for fundraising events and signing up to be a lobbyist so I can cause a stir and pave the way for ***INDEPENDENT EVALUATION OF THE CURRENT BUDGET & FUNDS ALLOCATION as well as ***THE IMPLEMENTATION OF JACKSONVILLE'S FERAL FREEDOM PROGRAM TO END KILLING HEALTHY, ADOPTABLE DOMESTIC ANIMALS!!!

But we're not anywhere near finished so pass this petition on to friends & family!!! We need all the support we can get so our message will be heard LOUD & CLEAR!

Thank you all so much for your words of encouragement. It helps give me courage on days when I feel overwhelmed with the tasks ahead of me. You are all integral to this process so keep up YOUR good work too!!

      xoxo
      Leigh

Living at the end of a dead-end rd., many people feel this is an opportunity to dump unwanted cats and kittens. On a limited income, I can"t care for these

TNR is the only way to control the feral population, but it takes a lot of volunteers, and a low-cost way to get the surgery done. Broward County is committed to going no-kill -- we need to find out their plans, and how they are going to accomplish this.

Catching and releasing spayed/neutered cats is humane. Killing multiple animals in a shelter is not. Please re-evaluate this situation!
