Keep Horses at Meadowood

If boarders are evicted, even temporarily, the small, woman-owned business running the facility will face financial ruin and Fairfax County will lose yet another boarding facility, meaning the loss of $1,000 tor $1,200 per horse per month to Fairfax County. If boarders are evicted, Mason Neck and Fairfax County will lose Meadowood as they know it. This is easy to fix. Speak up and save Meadowood.

There are so many petitions and organizations trying to stop the slaughter of our national treasure the horse. Please post or get the number 202-224-3121 out to your people to call to get the number of their congressman to put pressure on them to not slaughter our greatest national treasure the hourse since without them we wouldnt be where we are today. Signatures are all well and fine but they dont have the same impact as calls do. Thank you for your help to put pressure to pass HR2966 and reverse the horrible slaughter. Thank you for your time.

I have lived on Mason Neck for 44 years. BLM is supposed to be responsive to the needs of the people (taxpayers) it represents. In the current economic crunch, the golf course, Fairfax County Pohick park, Gunston Halll, the wildlife refuge and the State Park are being used more and more because they are closer to home. Meadowood and its horses represent the continuing move toward more recreational uses of the land. We enjoy seeing the horses and enjoy the horse adoption events.

"Simple Changes" is a great use of part of the land and horses. Please continue to maintain the harmony and integrity of Meadowood and its Horses.

Fairfax County needs horse facilities desperately and the small business owners that work out of this facility need and deserve protection.

This is a lovely horse property and should be available for use by county and non county residents... horses need space!

Please help us keep our horses!

Our government is supposed to represent the people. Well, the people want Meadowood to keep boarding horses and have related activities available there! It seems it's only "the government" that wants to change things
