Animal Cruelty is immoral and against the law, a Boone County Deputy told a citizen that unless the cruelty done to Brutis was confessed by Steve Roberts then nothing could be done. This is false, according to Arkansas Animal Cruelty Laws "a law enforcement officer may make an arrest under the Arkansas Rules of Criminal Procedure and bring before a court or magistrate having jurisdiction any person alleged to have violated this subchapter". We ask that a investigation be done and justice to be served for Ms. Connie Heinen and Brutis.

I care because this dog has suffered. he has to confess? Would the same happen if Brutis was a person? WOuld the killer have to confess in order for something to happen? There would be murderers all over the place and this dog should not have to have gone through this and his abuser let off because the deputy doesn't care The man needs to be brought to trial and he must pay for what he did. He certainly should not be living with animals at the very least.

      Ummmmm..... Gandhi sums it up

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way in which its animals are treated.

I hold that the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man.

I feel that spiritual progress does demand at some stage that we should cease to kill our fellow creatures for the satisfaction of our bodily wants.

I do not regard flesh-food as necessary for us at any stage and under any clime in which it is possible for human beings ordinarily to live. I hold flesh-food to be unsuited to our species."
