Jose Baez Needs To Be Held Accountable For His Actions

Jose Baez has ignored court orders numerous times during the Casey Anthony trial . Judge Perry stated that he would deal with the contempt when the trial is over. We want to see Judge Perry stand by his word. We saw Judge Perry sentence citizens to jail and impose fines for their actions during this trial. He needs to do the same to Jose Baez. The Florida BAR needs to investigate all grievances against Jose Baez, including possibly reopening grievances filed by Judge Stan Strickland. Jose Baez also needs to account for how he used the $200,000.00 + that was received by him on behalf of his client from ABC networks and other sources, especially since his client was declared indigent and the Florida taxpayers footed the bill. Jose Baez has at least one of his houses up for foreclosure which should not meet the standards of the Florida BAR. Jose Baez needs to be held accountable for his actions.

I think the trial might have had a different outcome if Mr. Baez would have respected the rules of the court. He needs to be held accountable for his despicable behavior.

like the judge has said he would deal with this matter after the trail, well the trail is over and jose baez should be held accountable for his actions, making false statements against witnesses, and i do believe like others do he knew where caylee was along, and covered it up,but its out in the open to many people has stated he knew about this,if he didnt he wouldnt have started hiring people before the case went to trail, and not to mention, the judge had to beief him on some lawyering skills as well, and was held in compemt of court, and dont getting the case ready when oreder by the judge,so jose baez needs to be held accountable for his actions--thank you

I think Jose Baez is participating in an unethical relationship with this client that goes beyond just doing his job as her counsel. I think he is also way too involved in assuming the role of her agent trying to get her book deals, or interview deals as that is not part of his job as her criminal defense attorney. He is doing this for money and fame and it is repulsive that someone like this gets to hold a job of this caliber. I wish he would get fined and disbarred for his reprehensible statements made about George Anthony in opening statements that he has no proof of and defamed this man only because "legally he can". He knows those things are lies and he did all he could to confuse the jury and not just his job to show that the case had holes, but he mislead the jury and tricked them into falling for his mis-stating the rules of reasonable doubt to a bunch of idiots anyway and they looked to the lawyers to guide them the right way and he didn't. He used smoke and mirros. He was inappropriate with his conduct and following the law as he purposely tried to play games and not provide the reports like he was court ordered to do and tried to sneak in "new" opinions. Plus, he was illegally taped trying to get someone to change their story...just because the tape was obtained against Baez's knowledge doesn't make his comments any less true or disgusting.

I agree that Jose Baez disgraced his profession by his actions during the Casey Anthony trial and needs to be held in contempt. The Florida Bar Association needs to examine his conduct before, during and following the trial. I hold the FLORIDA BAR RESPONSIBLE if they choose to overlook this matter! This country will NOT STAND for an INJUSTICE of this magnitude! This conclusion ONLY VERIFIES the need to CHANGE OUR SYSTEM as we evolve as Human Beings! Also, Jurors should be held RESPONSIBLE for explaining HOW they came to a certain conclusion! This would help to insure that the jury pool has not been tainted in any way! Where did the good common sense of this country go? How is it that we rely upon attorney's to complete YEARS of law school, pass a DIFFICULT bar exam then throw a case to 12 people who may not have even graduated from HIGH SCHOOL? Again, where is our common sense?
