Nipomo High School Principal, Mrs. Michelle Johnson, will no longer be the principal at NHS. There is no evidence or reason for her to be leaving. We are all shocked and saddened by the news. In support of Mrs. Johnson we feel compelled to stand behind her, please show your support by signing this petition.

Mrs. Johnson has created a strong and nurturing school community at NHS. Seeing Mrs. Johnson interact with the students every day, we know how dedicated she is in providing the best learning environment for them. She has established a foundation of safety, stability, guidance and values at NHS, which the students strive for.

Her removal from this position would be a great disservice to the students of NHS. Please join us in asking the Board of Education to keep Mrs. Johnson in her current position as Principal at Nipomo High School.

Subject: Keep Principal Michelle Johnson at Nipomo High School

I want to take this opportunity to communicate to the members of the Lucia Mar Unified School District Board of Education and the Office of the Superintendent, our sincere appreciation for the level of involvement in student education, parent-teacher support, and administrative leadership provided by Principal Johnson to the Nipomo High School community. Principal Johnson inspires self-confidence in our students, nurtures a culture of learning, and maintains a strong presence at Nipomo High School. This strong foundation should be bolstered with critical supports to enhance student success, not uprooted. Her removal from this position would be a great disservice to the students of Nipomo High School. Please reconsider this action and keep Principal Michelle Johnson at Nipomo High School!

Mrs. Johnson is hands down the best person for this position, in a society/environement where a lot of students do not come from very educated backgrounds, Michelle is there to assist those to grow.

This woman not impacted/changed my like when I was a student at Nipomo High School, but she was impacted many past, and current students as well. I know she will continue to do so with future students.

This woman cares about all the students, their highs/lows, no matter how big, the staff, the school, and the community. Not having this woman at this school would benefit nobody. Please, keep her at NHS.

      The students need her.
