She is a victim of rape, and rape victims rarely want to speak out about this tragedy. I think it is important for her to be able to speak out because it will help her move on with her life.
I understand the criminals in this case are juveniles, but what they did (http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20120720/NEWS01/307200106/?nclick_check=1) was unexcusable.
Now the defendants are using the justice system to violate this victim again.
These defendants have been convicted, through a plea agreement, so their right to a fair trial has been afforded. If Dietrich is prosecuted on these sham charges, you will be giving fathers out there justification to murder anyone that may violate their daughters.
Please, please, please don't victimize this child again.

She has suffered publicly and her life changed forever, why protect her attackers?

They SHOULD be identified and put on a sex offenders list.

Set an example for sex assault victims everywhere, and do not punish discourage them from speaking! These charges just reinforce the horrible culture of rape tolerance and victim blaming in our country! Shame shame shame.

I will sign all petitions for this young girl. As a rape victim, I am disgusted 100% at the way this poor girl has been treated by the "justice system". As others have said, they committed and posted pictures of the heinous crime first, they pled guilty, and all she was doing was letting people know who the criminals were. Stop treating rape victims like they are criminals!

Thank you to Savannah and all the people who have helped expose this hateful crime and despicable lapse in our justice system.

I am 60 years old and I am sick and tired of seeing the "guilty" receive better treatment from the courts than the victims these days. Enough is enough!!
