I WAS WOUNDED IN IRAQ AND,  I WAS MEDICALLY RETIRED DUE TO INJURIES I RECEIVED AFTER 14 YEARS OF ACTIVE DUTY. I WAS GIVEN A ONE MONTH NOTICE THAT I WAS BEING RETIRED AND MY ACTIVE DUTY PAY WOULD BE CUT OFF. I CALLED CHASE AND TOLD THEM THIS, ASKED FOR HELP TOLD THEM MY PAY WAS GOING TO GO FROM 60K PER YEAR TO LESS THAN 13K PER YEAR DUE TO BEING FORCED TO RETIRE. THEY WOULD NOT HELP. I FILED BBB COMPLAINTS, TALKED TO SENATORS, CONGRESSMAN AND THE VA. CHASE TOLD ALL OF THEM THAT THEY OFFERED ME A REPAYMENT PLAN AND I TURNED IT DOWN. THEY HAVE BEEN CLAIMING THIS SINCE 2008. LAST MONTH MY CONGRESSMAN IN INDIANA GOT HEAVILY INVOLVED. CHASE SENT ME TWO LETTERS IN AN ENVELOPE THIS MONTH, ONE ADDRESSED TO ME AND ONE ADDRESSED TO MY CONGRESSMAN. ON MY LETER IT SAID AFTER INVESTIGATION WE HAVE FOUND THAT WE MADE AN ERROR AND YOU WERE NEVER OFFERED A REPAYMENT PLAN. THE ONE TO MY CONGRESSMAN SAID THAT I REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE PAYMENT PLAN. I BROUGHT BOTH LETTERS TO MY CONGRESSMAN AND SHOWED HIM THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE. CHASE HAS ADMITTED IN WRITING THAT THEY NEVER TRIED TO HELP ME, YET SINCE 2008 THEY HAVE TOLD, THE BBB, SENATORS, ATTORNEY GENERAL, COMPTROLLER AND CONGRESSMAN THAT THIS WAS ALL MY FAULT BECAUSE I REFUSED TO USE THE OFFERED REPAYMENT PLAN. I AM ASKING CHASE TO REMOVE THE NEGATIVE MARKS THEY HAVE CREATED FROM MY CREDIT AND TO REFUND ME MY MONEY AND COMPENSATE ME FOR DAMAGES THEY HAVE CAUSED. MY CONGRESSMAN HAS ALSO SENT A LETTER TO THEM ASKING ABOUT COMPENSATION AND REFUNDING MY MONEY THAT WAS INVESTED INTO THE HOME. CHASE MADE MYSELF AND MY FAMILY HOMELESS AFTER I WAS WOUNDED WHILE SERVING MY COUNTRY.

I think it's wrong that a financial institution would do this to anyone, let alone a serviceman. Lying is not good business practice and they need to come clean and do right by this family.

This is typical of how irresponsable too many financial institutions an big business has become, and to disrespect a veteran who defended our country for a major part of his life is bordering on criminal

Because I myself am a multiple deployment veteran and I am sick and tired of people screwing over those whom have fought for this country.
