I commit to recycle, even when it's not convenient

Have you ever wanted to recycle something, but then thrown it away when no obvious recycling options were available?  Maybe you were walking down a busy street with an empty water bottle and there were no recycling bins.  Or, perhaps you weren't sure whether something was recyclable or not.

I'm as guilty of this as anyone, and I vow to make a change.  From now on, I'm going to be pro-active and ensure that I will always find a suitable option for my recyclable materials.   If not right away, then I'll hold onto my used water bottles and cardboard boxes until I find the right place to dispose of them.

If we all pitch in and make this relatively simple commitment, we can make a difference for our environment.

Even though my curbside recycling does not take glass (Whats up with that), not one bottle goes to the landfill, we have an awesome recycling center in Park City that takes everything. Awesome pledge!

I absolutely commit to recycle! I've been doing it for years. It started with me when I watched how my mom would split up the recycling at home: plastics, glass, aluminum. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones but I can't deny it, it certainly helped formed my opinion about recycling by watching my mom do it. It really doesn't take much effort, and it really isn't ALL that inconvenient. After a while you get used to it.

Nothing outrages me more than to see plastic 20 oz. bottles laying in the trash can (at work) RIGHT NEXT TO the recycling bin! Are you kidding me! That's not 'inconvenient' that's just plain lazy.

I have been recycling since 1970. I wouldn't stop now. We have limited resources and a limit to the places we can put our junk.

We should, because it's our responsibility to do so.
