Concerned citizens of Gurgaon have filed a suit in Gurgaon Courts to have the liquor vends moved from Green Belts.

This is a very good initiative by Nisha Singh, there is a liquor shop in almost every round-about in gurgaon. One may not find water vendor but can easily see these liquor shops everywhere. People gather and booze at these points and loose their sense, behave irrationally, cause traffic problems, civil disturbance , road rage , accidents , create unrest situations and often get into serious crimes as it had been occuring most of the times in past. These cause problem for other common public.

Moreover majority of these are illegal and owned by Mafia and local goons so we strongly feel that these liquor shops/ drinking points should be removed from green belts.

Now people should stop criticising this initiative led by Nisha Singh and if they can really wanna help the city then they should come forward and give suggestions, instead of cripping. Don't make this campaign a politics ground.

We all should feel thankful to such educated and disciplined people like Nisha who came forward and conested and really wanna do something for our city.

I am signing this because incompetent, incapable and non-delivering councillors and politicians like Mayor Vimal Yadav, Sr. Deputy Mayor Yashpal Batra and Councillors like Ms. Rama Rani Rathi and Ms. Nisha Singh need cheap publicity by making loud promises. The fact is that petition of Ms. Singh has not resulted in any relief as she and her think tank lacks elementary knowledge of law and the petition was to be filed in High Court and not lower court as done by her. We had even provided them copy of HUDA policy that says liquor vends cannot be in green belt but she failed. We shall file P.I.L. if she withdraw her petition.
