Homeless Families Are Not Lab Rats

New York families at risk of homelessness are being subjected to a cruel experiment.

The director of the City University of New York's Center for Urban Research, John Mollenkopf, is conducting a study — endorsed by the city's Department of Homeless Services — that randomly assigns 200 families to a program that includes housing assistance, job training and more.

The lab rats are the 200 other needy families who are barred from services in order to be the control group. Researchers will track them for the purposes of seeing who ends up in shelters and who can find help on their own.

Tell the researchers and the commissioner of the Department of Homeless Services that these families aren't lab rats and urge them to end the experiment today!

This is unbelieveable! This study is effectively killing people, and pushing them to commit suicide.

Rats shouldn't be used in experiments or ANY other living body. People who need help, when any help is available, should be helped. Rats & other animals should be helped OUT of labs & other sadistic hell holes. Sadist are milking the system without helping anyone but themselves.

Next they will be filming them and making money from the TV show.

We live in a sick world and we need to do more to stop the twisted excuses for human beings who hold power the world over. We need a worldwide revolution of the masses.

      Edward Willis,

The, as you put, "sorry excuse for a President" HAS NOT done ANYTHING he said he was going to do in his campaign. He's too worried about padding his & his families pockets along with every other elected offical in this country.

He stated that he was creating jobs - HA! NOW, HERE IN THIS STATE THEY HAVE STARTED TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THE UNEMPLOYED. THE COMPANIES HAVE HELP WANTED SIGNS OUT; HOWEVER IT ALSO SAYS "NO NEED TO APPLY IF UNEMPLOYED"

WTH!!!!!!!! That is total 110% discrimination against the citizens from getting of unemployment!!

this study sounds like it's incredibly pointless. wouldn't the money and time be better spent actually helping all the families???
