Help save Niko!!

Nickle, now Niko came to our rescue today. He is a beautiful red natural eared Doberman. The biggest problem is that he is emaciated. He should weigh at least 90 to 100 pounds and right now weighs 70 pounds after being in the shelter for almost two months. You can literally count all his ribs and see his hip bones. Please sign so we can let the Judge know we will not accept people treating animals like this. This is not the first time animals have been taken from these people, and after a fine, the courts have given the animals back.  I am hoping we can show that this can't happen again.

Here is a picture this morning of my big boy. He is steadily gaining weight, and is getting a shine to his coat. He is starting to get very familiar to his surroundings, which is good since we found out he is completely blind in his right eye and going blind in the left. He has retinal degeneration as well as optic nerve damage in the left eye

Please do not return this poor dog to those cruel and uncaring people, they won't change and next time Niko might not be so lucky. He needs a loving family to take care of him.

the people who had him should be in jail and never allowed to own another animal have home visits periodically to make sure they DONT have any animals .

If this is a shelter, why are they emaciating their animals? Some needs to do something other than gain money for the county and return the animal to those who did this.

It could be this Dobe lost wt after two months in a shelter because Dobes don't tolerate shelters well. That being said, why didn't the shelter seek a rescue early on. And any judge who would give an abused animal back to it's owner should be disbarred. We HAVE to make animal abuse a felony!!

How can anyone allow a shelter to treat animals like this. Shelters are suppose to help them not give them a life of HELL and starvation ! If any judge imposes a fine for mistreatment and then allows that shelter to keep the animals should be disbarred and not allowed to be a judge. If a parent or a foster home for children treated a child this way, there is no judge in the world that would allow that child to return. Well judge listen up. THESE ARE OUR CHILDREN!!!!! We are their voice so listen up.
