Help Free 8 Orangutans From Malaysia’s Alcatraz Prison For Orangutans?

    1. Friends of the Orangutans

      Friends of the Orangutans

      Malaysia, Malaysia

The A’Famosa tourist park is primarily a golf resort situated about 70 miles south of Kuala Lumpur.

The 8 orangutans have been kept in cramped, dark, indoor quarters for the last 18 months, with no fresh air, no sun on their backs, no rain, nothing to play with or do all day.

The government has a long history of protecting the resort from prosecution for handling illegally obtained orangutans.

The A’Famosa resort should never be allowed to keep these orangutans.

We would greatly appreciate your support in the form of signing this petition which will automatically trigger sixteen emails being sent to key government people, including the Prime Minister.

On behalf of these orangutans who are unable to help or speak for themselves, thank you.

No animal needs to be kept in horrible conditions any where at any time.

You would think that a country like Malaysia would have more intelligence within its official ranks than this. Clearly the poor animals in the cages have more brains. Malaysia deserves to be outcast from mainstream global society until it gets its animal welfare in order.

These are amazing creatures. Please set them free & stop anymore from being kept in these horrible conditions, or "kept" AT ALL! They should be in the WILD as they are WILD & terrific animals.

This is just so awful. These beautiful animals have feelings, like we do. They are being kept in a prison. This resort should be boycotted until the orangutans are freed. Please help these apes.
