Help bring back both parents into kids lives.

      Peter Hill

      Weston, MA

Because kids need their dads too. Kids who grow up with dad are less violent, stay in school more, do not have sex early, use less drugs and alcohol and grow up to be better parents.

It does take a Village to raise kids and that village should always include a mom and a dad.

Please help by signing and encourage others to sign.

FYI. Governor Deval Patrick has officially appointed me to a Working Group on Child-centered Family Laws. The first meeting is Mid July. I look forward to reforming how these laws so that kids can enjoy both their mother and their father after a parents separation and divorce. I hope the working group can affect change.

We are nearly half way to my goal of 1000 signers. If everyone just asks ONE person to sign, we can be at over 1000 signers tomorrow. Let them know WE CARE about this issue.

I look forward to working to effect change.

We are nearly 46% on our way to having over 1,000 signers. Here in Massachusetts we are one step closer to having a task force formed by the Governors office in the Commonwealth. Chairman O'Flaherty has agreed to a task force, Senator Creem has agreed to a task force, Mo Cowan the Governors Chief of Staff has told the Governors Chief Legal Counsel Mark Riley to get to work on it, the Boston Bar has agreed to the task force, John Fiske a very respected Moderator in Massachusetts has agreed to the task force and we are just awaiting words from the Massachusetts Bar when their leaders return from vacation. Once the task force is formed, than the real hard work will start. Thank you for all of your support. Keep asking at least one to two people to sign and we can get to over the 1,000 mark. We can make our mark and with your help, we will effect change, for all of our kids and everyone else's kids too.

    5. We are now over 40% on my way goal to over 1,000 signers and more.

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

Kids do need both parents. If you are here in Massachusetts, please contact the Governors office and ask him to please help form a task force on custody. If you have contacts at the Mass Bar or the Boston Bar, please ask them to agree to the formation of a task force. Everything is a process and it can be painfully slow, but sometimes the tortoise does win in the end and we are the tortoise at the moment.

Thanks for your help. Please ask one to two people, family friends and co workers and friends to sign this. If you each did that, 1000 signers would be here by tomorrow.

Thank you all for your help and doing this for our kids.

    6. We have hit our next level of 40% to the goal of 1000 signatures

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

We are on our way to 1,000 signers and beyond. Please just get two people to sign this petition and our goal of 1,000 signers will be a reality. Many of you have shared your heart wrenching stories and I feel for all that have been affected by this dysfunctional legal system. I will be having a letter published Monday in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette on this issue and we are fighting for a Custody Task Force here in Massachusetts.

Again, if you need help writing emails, I am glad to help. My first one is always Free.

Thanks again in advance for asking other parents, friends and family to sign on. With your help, we can make change.

    7. We have now reached over 35% towards my goal to over 1,000 signers

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

Thank you to all who have signed. We continue to work every day so that kids can continue to benefit from both of their parents regardless of separation and divorce. Both parents families too deserve to continue that relationship and that includes grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and even friends that have forged a bond and that bond should continue and not be broken.

Please recruit at least one or two friends or family to sign for we could double or triple our number over night if you do help. With a Village of us, we can make change.

Thank you for your continued support. I am willing to help any with emails too and remember the first edit is always FREE.

      Peter Hill

We just had a huge push from the Great State of Iowa with a flurry of signatures from your state. It is appreciated. I hope other states follow suit. Keep those signers coming. Thanks again. Peter.

    9. We are now over 30% on our way to my new goal of 1,000 signatures.

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

We have signatures from 37 of the 50 states. I have had some gut wrenching stories from women and men on the need for this to happen. On a positive note. Yesterday I met with the Chairman of the Mass Judiciary Committee, at the behest of the House Speaker Robert DeLeo in Mass and they have agreed to set up a commission to study the Custody issue. I probably will be on this commission and I hope as a start we will be able to affect change here in Massachusetts. Thank you all for your support.

I encourage you all to ask more friends and family and co workers and whom ever you know to sign this so we can make this successful for our nations kids.

    10. Today we reached 250 signatures or 25% towards my 1000 goal.

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

We now have signers from 36 of the 50 United States plus signers from the American Samoa and an Outer US Minor Island, Canada and the UK.

Kids do need and benefit from a dad in their life. As a Village we CAN effect change and we can educate our state and local legislators. Ask two to three people to sign this today so we can BRING BACK DADS, and some moms too into kids lives.

Thank you for all the women who have signed this too and thank you to you all.

    11. Reached 250 signatures
    12. We are nearly 25% on our way to 1000, my new goal

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

Kids need their dads too. Every day we read stories of child abuse and the dads are absent. Kids who have both a mom and dad in their lives tend to be abused less. Lets do this for the kids. Try to recruit at least one to two people to sign the petition today. Let the candidates know both locally and nationally, this IS an important issue.

    13. I am happy to say we are up to 205 signatures and from 32 States.

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

My goal is to get over 1000 signatures and from all 50 states. I think we can do it. Hawaii and Alaska Nevada and more are still not represented. I am confident we will get people from all 50 states asking for the rights of both parents to raise their kids.

    14. Thank you for helping reach the milestone of 20% towards new goal of 1000

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

We now have over 200 signatures and my goal now is over 1000. Kids do need both parents and to raise awareness I do need your help to spread the word and ask others to sign it. In this election year, it would be great to make this an issue that candidates talk about.

Help me to help our nations kids, their dads and some moms too.

Thanks. If everyone just asks one person to sign today, we can double this number overnight. Please ask others to sign.

      Peter

    15. Word IS spreading about our petition. We now have signers from MOST states.

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

We are just 5 away from 20% of our new goal of 1000 signers. People are signing every day and the more we get, the more public this can become. Ask at least one family or friend to sign this petition and WE CAN AFFECT CHANGE.

    16. Thank you all for signing this petition. We are over 17% to new goal.

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

This is about your kids and all of our kids. Thank you for your support so far. We must try to bring this to a new level. Please ask at least one to two people to sign this petition and we can double our numbers overnight and make this an issue in the current Presidential campaign. It does take a Village to make change and we are all part of that village. If you think the other person will do it, it will not get done.

If you believe in the Power of One as I do, you can help to get this done for our kids.

Kids benefit from both parents. Lets make noise and make it happen.

      Thanks.

      Peter

    17. We are at 159 signatures

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

Help me to move this. I am open to new ideas to help promote this more so we can bring back dads and sometimes both parents into kids lives. Some moms are affected too and it is just as wrong.

These reforms if passed will help not only dads, but moms, grandparents, aunts and uncles and friends. There is no reason a child should lose one half of their identity because of their parents separation or divorce.

Please help to spread the word today. Recruit at least one person to sign onto this petition today and today we could double our numbers.

    18. Thank you for your support. We are now over 15% of the way to 1000+

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

If we keep this going, we will get public recognition. Please ask friends and families and others to sign and post this petition far and wide. Thanks.

    19. I have updated my petition letter.

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

We are now up to 138 signatures. My new goal is 1000 and beyond. Please pass this onto others, show them you care about kids in America. Some 20 million kids now live without a dad in the home. Over 38% and in inner city boston, for those kids raised with a mom under 18 that number is 85% of kids without a dad in the home. We must bring back dads for the health and safety of kids and for all of society.

    20. We are up to over 135 signatures. My new goal is over a 1000

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

Please post this petition far and wide and ask others to sign it. The more that know about it the greater the effect we can have. Thanks for your help. With your support we can make a change.

    21. Reached 100 signatures
    22. Title IVd, Bradley Amendment and VAWA have kept kids from dads.

      Peter Hill
      Petition Organizer

We need to reform these Federal Laws and pass Joint Custody/ Shared Parenting bills in States for fit parents so kids can grow up with both parents.

    23. Reached 10 signatures

Family courts not fair to divorced fathers

      Published: October 25, 2012

In a protest on Oct. 19 of the Family Court Professional Collaborative annual conference that was held at

the Polo Grill, Lakewood Ranch, a group of dedicated divorced fathers showed up. Many members of the

      family attorneys and judges attended.

Lawless America Florida Chapter was well represented. We are good dads that just want to be dads and

attended with heavy hearts and hoping to make a difference in their children's lives in creating awareness

of our situation to the judges that make the final and sometimes very destructive decisions.

We have been silent too long. We were well organized, polite to all and the sheriff's officer who allowed our

signs and personal complete use of all walkways that protects our constitutional right to protest and

      freedom of speech.

Folks, this is what is being done across this nation to demonstrate our cause in the current destructive

family courts. Thousands of stories across our country, along with congressional statements, are currently

being filmed for the Lawless America movie that will be presented to Congress on Jan. 9, 2013.

It is my hope that the current members, speakers and judges who attended take a step back and really look

at some of the destructive practices that go on behind closed doors that affect the lives of our children.

Single fathers who just want to spend equal time with their own children are the most affected. We as

fathers just want the least amount of judicial and government interference when it comes to our children. It's

just not the 12th, it's an epidemic across this country that is destroying family values and loving

relationships with our children. This must stop.

Our children's lives are being negatively affected by the current family courts. We deserve better for our

      children.

      Enough is enough.
