The University has a project to reduce costs and overheads known as the Transformation Project. We feel that the projected cuts are not are in the best interest of students. These cuts are being made amongst outstanding support, academic and research staff who help students through their degrees and PhD research on a daily basis. http://www.hr.salford.ac.uk/ocp/

Well I think that in times like this with tuition fees tripling and staff fearing for their jobs and students fearing for good atmosphere of learning and creativity the Universities and beyond that the government try to sell the approaching disaster as something good. As improvement of educational choice in this typical euphemisms of corporate zeitgeist, The opposite is the reality.
