As a nation, our prison populations has ballooned out of control. We need to take decisive action to reduce our prison population before it gets any worse, reduce crime, and give ex-offenders a fair chance at rehabilitation. This bill will offer a viable solution to an integral part of this problem: excessive sentences for non-violent & rehabilitated inmates. I encourage you co-sponsor this legislation, fight to get this bill out of committee and vote YEA when the opportunity arises. Thank you.
