Research has proven a strong link between animal cruelty and those who commit violent offences against humans. The most vicious killers began by torturing and killing animals and this must be acknowledged by our judicial system and our government.

We must find this man and give him the maximum sentence!

We urge you to review the current sentencing structure and ensure that those who commit cruelty to animals receive a penalty that will be effective, deter future offences and is in line with the severity of the offence committed.

Help Justice to be served, seek maximum sentencing for this man!

Do not let this crime go unpunished for the horrible torture of this dog!

Sign this petition urging Slovenian authorities to hunt down the guilty parties, expose the severity of animal abuse, and create proper legislation that will protect animals. Currently , animal control standards are unacceptable, inhumane, and do not operate using the highest standards of animal welfare.

Thank you for your time

Please instigate proper Laws that permit the punishment of animal abusers in a severe and meaningful way! Animals are sentient beings and feel all the emotions humans feel. Pain is pain and torture is torture, regardless of species. This is a most horrific crime against a helpless dog and it must be punished!

Dogs are loyal, protect us, do work for the blind, find cancer in people, help with law enforcement, military -sniff out mines, etc. They are to be revered and are magnificent creations, absolutely helpless to cruelty and not just any person should not be allowed to have them. Sickening what is happening to them. This man should be locked in a mental institution for what he did.

It is heartbreaking to know humans -- who have so much to gain by caring for and living in harmony with animals -- can be so cruel to animals. Cruelty is not a human instinct. Cruelty, like hate, is a learned behavior (I do not excuse the behavior) the source of which is most often from a role model -- a parent or a peer. What most communities and their lawmakers don't recognize that animal cruelty is a serious public safety issue. Unchecked animal cruelty escalates to cruelty against other helpless creatures like children, the elderly, the homeless and gets worse from there. It's up to humans to stop cruelty. If cities, municipalities, counties, states enacted harsher laws, had better enforcement and serious community education, transformation away from cruelty for both animals and humans could be reality.

For every action there is a reaction. According to the law of karma, if we cause pain and suffering to other living beings, we must endure pain and suffering in return, both individually and collectively. We reap what we sow, in this life and the next, for nature has her own justice. No one can escape the law of karma
