"IF HE DON'T WORK FOR A WEEK, HE DON'T EAT FOR A WEEK" (Surrey Operator). The Surrey Horses in the BAHAMAS are SUFFERING and although PLEAS HAVE BEEN MADE to improve the situation, NOTHING has been done. If nothing can be done immeadiately to enforce the rules that are in place It is now time to call for a ban on this 'tourist attraction' AND STOP the importation of horses for the surrey business.

Please - if you can also leave a comment - thank you

This picture was taken after an inspection by vets - All the horses were passed. It is unfortunate that the Bahamas Humane Society has no authority to take these horses off the road. They can advise, however, their advice is rarely taken. Come on people. This is abuse at it's worst!!! THIS NEEDS TO END!!! No Vet who cares about animal welfare would pass horses in this condition !!

Those poor horses are treated badly . They don't fed them like they suppose to.I feel if you can't afford to take care a big animal. You should not have a horse.

I have personally seen these horses and the conditions in which they work....not acceptable!
