A lot of people used it, people who were power users of GMail web app.
We don't understand how you calculated that it is not "widely used" to make a decision to pull the plug on it.
We at least deserved a notification or a feedback.
Bring it back!

    1. Google/GMail doesn't provide any way to contact them

      Aman Alam

This is as scary as it sounds.
Gmail or Google doesn't provide us with any way of emailing them directly.
Before you draw any other conclusions, let me tell you that I love Google in every possible way (except this), and I truly understand that not having any email address (something like support@google.com) must have had some reasons, for example, to keep themselves from receiving thousands of mails per minute?

But in case your account goes down or you need a help immediately, you don't have an email address to directly post to them, rather than a few Help Center article links, and if you're lucky, a form that can be used to send them a message.

Change.org provides a way to associate an email address with a petition so that it is notified every time you sign the petition, but the lack of such an email address prevents me to send your requests to Google/GMail.

I've already passed it on to all the Google channels that I know, and will be looking for more ways.

      Keep supporting!

Its been like 5 days, and we're almost there!
Speaks in volume how much we loved Mouse Gestures, and how much do we miss it.
A little of more support and we'll be reaching our target.

      Please keep spreading the word!

      Thanks,
      Aman

Thanks a lot guys for signing it, but we need big numbers to convince Google that they really need to bring it back.
It has increased a lot of mouse movement and two clicks to navigate through messages now, which Mouse Gestures had changed.

Please spread the word among your peers and ask them to sign and share.
      Together, we can do it.

I used the mouse gesture every single day to plow through my inbox. Right now, I would have to have my other hand on the keyboard to press j or k to flip through my emails. Then I have to switch back to the mouse or trackpad for other actions! It was such a convenience! I don't understand why Google would retire this feature. It can only have benefits!

Killing this feature lowers the speed of using gmail by 4 times minimum. Please bring it back!

By far, Mouse Gestures was one of the best kept secretes of gmail. Initially I thought it'd be an annoyance, but it looked interesting so I gave it a shot. I immediately found it to be incredibly helpful. Now all I do is right click and get an annoying contextual menu. Please bring back the Mouse Gestures.
