Stop Mink Farms in France

The fur industry in France is growing .  180 000 minks were killed in 2010, against 150,000 in 2009 ... Twenty mink farms are counted in France.
I am shocked to discover Mink ( in french = vison )  farms in Doubs , France and I am respectfully requesting that the french Government  discontinues profiting off the exploitation of animals.

Background : http://www.fondationbrigittebardot.fr/site/actu.php?id=40210&IdCat=8/
 And :

Allow me to illustrate what I believe to be a terrible  contribution to the violent practice of animal farming by sharing particular characteristics: tens of millions of animals are subjected to the most exploitative rituals and torturous conditions as practiced by the skin and fur industries. In accordance with established protocols, these industries condemn animals to horrific environments and methods of death including the deliberate skinning alive, anal and genital electrocution, and gassing, all selected to impart the least damage to fur pelts and skin. Contrary to industry publications meant to cultivate an appeal to vanity or luxury, however, the standardized policies regarding animals bred and killed for fur and skin additionally include housing in substandard enclosures where animals live in diseased conditions, inadequate nutrition, and an environment where animals pace relentlessly due to illness, boredom, and pain.Animals held captive on fur farms spend their short lives crowded in wire cages where they suffer from inadequate water, disease, parasites, and stress.►►This sort of intensive confinement has severe psychological implications. Ranch mink engage in neurotic behavior.
Many will move back and forth in the same repetitive motion for extended periods of time. This is called a stereotype pattern and FYI : http://www.cpepesc.org/Elevage-de-visons-a-Emagny-25-un.html?var_recherche=visons   Because these animals are bred to be killed, any comforts are considered cost-prohibitive and thus denied. *Are you aware that the accepted slaughtering standard for the fur industry is to skin alive?

*Animals are sentient beings just like humans meaning they feel pain and are emotional.

***FYI : About Mink Oil is made from mink  fat . The fat that is made into this oil is stored just beneath the skin. Removed from pelts destined for the fur industry, the fat is rendered into mink oil.Botanical alternatives to mink oil as a source of palmitoleic acid include macadamia nut oil  and sea buckthorn oil  both of which contain a larger percentage of palmitoleic acid (22 and 40% respectively) than does mink oil (17%)..

""i am a little mink, i was born to die, all i can do is, wait and cry. if anyone out there hears my call, try to do something, anything at all. for me it is too late, but not for others of fur, please take all actions necessary so again, this does not occur""

Tail biting is a form of self-mutilation that is common in captive mink populations.
Self-mutilation is a hardship for fur farmers because it devalues the animal's fur pelt.
Mink are killed after their winter coat reaches prime to cover many of the flaws in the fur.
. Large pens would reduce the amount of self-mutilation, but the additional space would increase overhead costs. *It is more cost-effective for the industry to cram more animals into a smaller space, and deal with the occasional stress related death or self-mutilation
This semi-aquatic animal does not get a chance to swim in water if born on a fur farm.
The lack of exposure to swimming in water is believed to increase behavioral problems in ranch mink.
In the summer time, a wild mink might take a dip in a pond to cool off. Denied that option, many ranch mink die from heat related diseases in the hot summer months. Some years, as many as 10% of a fur farms stock may die from heat related conditions.
