Allow the Cher Lloyd concert to be held at Freehold High School

    2. Petition by

      Freehold, NJ

The participants of Freehold High School, FRHSD, and their parents were truly tremendous and inspirational. Freehold High School beat out schools from Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey to win a free performance from Cher Lloyd, a 2010 xFactor UK finalist. Unfortunately, it is FRHSD policy to prohibit concerts on school premises. Please sign this petition for the students and their families that displayed outstanding school pride and loyalty.

this policy of the district does not serve them well and needs to be amended for the sake of this positve and uplifting concert.... please change it and make the kids happy

These kids worked hard for this. I keep thinking about the disappointment they must have felt after the mural they worked so hard on in town was destroyed. I don't think they need to be taught that working together in a community or in a school, for a goal, is a waste of time. There are many places in the boro they could have this concert. In winning it they surpassed schools like Brooklyn Tech???? That in itself is almost unbelievable. They deserve this concert! If we can't support our local kids who worked so hard for this? Who can we support?

This is important to me because these kids obviously got together as a group to work for something. Don't make them feel like cooperation is a waste of time!!!
