Remove Dr. Keith Ablow's transphobic article from your website

    1. Petition by

      Really, Fox News?

      Wooster, OH

The article "Don't Let Your Kids Watch Chaz Bono on Dancing With the Stars," is a relentless, transphobic and disrespectful attack against Chaz Bono that reflects Fox News' support for Dr. Ablow's stream of heteronormative and offensive articles. Coupled with Ablow's earlier (removed) post about Bono, his equation of pedophilia to homosexuality as a "lifestyle choice,"  and his tirade against J. Crew's Jenna Lyons, the Fox News organization has repeatedly demonstrated that they have no problem publishing and backing Ablow's hateful, homophobic, and transphobic words as reflective of their news organization. This behavior is unacceptable for a major network news organization and exceeds the boundaries of political bias inherent in most news media.

We respectfully ask that Fox News remove this article from their website, and to seriously consider the future of Mr. Ablow's career with the organization if he continues to post discriminatory and medically-contested information.

The Fox Nation welcome message states that "Fox Nation is for those opposed to intolerance." Fox News must hold itself accountable to its promise of fair and balanced journalism as well as the organization's stated commitment to tolerance and anti-discriminatory beliefs. Dr. Albow's words are the epitome of intolerance, and we hope that the Fox News organization will take action in both removing this contradictory article and prohibit similar articles from being posted on Fox News affiliated websites.

Because I want to know that one day, my children will grow up in a less judgemental world. And that they won't have to face half the things that I'm afraid I might go through when I'm a in any way, an unconventional sort of mom

Gay rights aren't a privilege, they're human rights.
