Keating McFarland: Along with other petitions, a public, on-air statement was made regarding the comments made! The video is here: http://video.foxnews.com/v/2183870657001/tucker-carlson-addresses-wiccan-comments/?playlist_id=903226511001 Thank you all for taking a stand!!! K. McFarland

For too long we have stood by and have allowed others to bash us and our beliefs. If this kind of thing had happened with the Christian religion, there would be an outrage! It is time that we take a stand and make it clear that this is unacceptable and we WILL NOT tolerate it! To see exactly what was said, visit the following site:

Bashing religions is never acceptable and the Pagan/Wiccan community deserves an apology.

Paganism and Wicca are recognized religions in the United States, and should be respected as such regardless of one's personal beliefs. We can't go around bashing Christianity or Jews, can we? Paganism/Wicca is no different. It is a religion held by many in this country and it needs to be respected.

This Country is supposed to be about freedom of religion. It doesn't make an easy experience when this attacing of wiccans is public. I'm new to Wicca. I've been studying and practicing as a solitary witch for 4 years now. My husband and children know and are fine with it. My parents don't know but have always been against pagans. I was a brainwashed Christian, now I know better. Now I'm 41 and I'm finally on a path that I call home. I will never tell my parents because this is a very special part of me and my life and I will not let my parents or the news attack it. I am affended!,

What was said was factually inaccurate. Such misinformation poisons minds of trusted viewers against a minority that they might not understand except through this warped description. You don't have to endorse Wicca or Pagan beliefs, but as a news network you have an unspoken oath to the people that you should report the truth. Amend the mistake.

As a parent who has been studying and practising as a witch for 16 years, I am disappointed that a news segment contained such thoughtless and unresearched fiction. No one should be spreading such misinformation, or ridiculing anyone's spiritual path. It disappoints me to see Fox News act as such bullies in the 21st century. I wish you well on your path, and I hope you have a long think about how you would feel being on the other end of this argument and that it inspires you to reach out to learn and study things that you are yet to be educated in. Blessed Be.
