I am Petitioning for all LIFERS TO BE ALLOWED TO RECIEVE FAMILY VISITS. Because like other inmates they should be allowed to have their EQUAL OPPURTUNITY RIGHTS & Spend time with their loved ones these men are Humans not Animals & deserve some sort of support not only are they doing time some have kids and families who love and care for them dearly and are also doing time with our prisoners being punished along with them by not being able to have These FAMILY VISITS. By these VISITS it will help the inmate rehabilitate themselves. Please take time to VOTE and pass it on to your friends and family.

I have always believed this should be allowed for All Inmates. Now that I am facing a possibility of living this nightmare with my son, I too will do Everything possible to help change this for Families and Inmates. My son doesn't have a wife, nor children. But he does have parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. All of us are very close, and my grandkids are taking their uncles incarceration very hard. Before being arrested my son was a big part of the kids lives, and suddenly one day he doesn't come home, and they just don't understand. Even while he's been incarcerated, my son tries to give advice to his 11 yr old sister and 14 yr old & 7 yr old old nephews. And with my husband's poor health, it's important to have as much time, even minimal time together.

I hope many people sign this position. I feel the Family visits make the difference in the children's lives more then anyone. Without them the kids can act out in many ways. For as long as they are hurting, which in this case can be for the rest of their lives.

Lifers should get family visits due to the struggle of them being in prison for life they need mental and physical support from family members.
