Repeal the policy banning all homosexual men from donating blood

The FDA says gay men are more likely to contract the HIV/AIDS virus. They currently hold a policy permanently banning all men that have ever had sexual contact with another man from donating blood.  The issue with this? Regularly tested homosexual men in monogamous relationships are going to have the same rate of having the HIV/AIDS virus in their blood as regularly tested heterosexuals in monogamous relationships. The FDA's policy turns away homosexual men in long-term monogamous relationships, but fails to question promiscuous heterosexuals. Unprotected promiscuity causes the spread of HIV/AIDS. NOT gay men. End discrimination in blood donor screenings. Tell the FDA their policy needs to change.
