I still feel that 15 years in prison is no match for having killed someone because of your negligence. This man had constitutional rights and was out and about days after having killed my son. He will be able to parole out in 7 1/2 years if the parole board allows it. I say we must make sure he serves all fifteen years. My son's life was cut short and my grandson (his son) will never be able to know his father. I say my grandson is being cheated and the drunk driver must serve the whole 15 years in prison. This why we must change the law in Texas because drunk drivers will only server up to 20 years maximum in prison for killing an innocent person. Let's continue to get more signatures, so that people who are charged with intoxication manslaughter can get a harsher sentence (LIFE). This is not a game. My son is gone and I will never be able to see, hear, and hug him ever again. My son was only 17 and he was a responsible and a productive citizen of San Antonio, Texas.
