Revoke the 27 Fox broadcast licenses News Corp. holds in the United States

The FCC has clearly defined rules regarding who is allowed to own broadcast frequencies in the United States. Specifically, firms run by people of "good character", who serve the "public interest", and speak with "candor". News Corp. has admitted to bribery, wire fraud, and both computer and phone hacking, all of which run afoul of the FCC's rules on who has the right to own these frequencies. The FCC has a duty to the media consumers of the United States to review the recent admission of illegal activity conducted by Rupert Murdoch's New Corp., and revoke their license to broadcast in the United States based on their illegal, unethical and egregious behavior.

And now they have outed a Navy SEAL, endangering not only his life, but the lives of his comrades, and all their families.

Fox News chose to identify the name of the ex-Navy SEAL who wrote a book (under an anonymous name) on the death of Osama bin Laden. This is an incredibly irresponsible thing for a news organization to do! To me, this says that Fox News doesn't respect the men and women who serve in the military. This is completely unacceptable. It's horrible that Fox News put the anonymous author in jeopardy simply so Fox News could get a few more viewers/readers. Fox News needs to go!

I have no illusions that anyone in any position of power will pay attention to this...however the number of people who sign onto a petition like this may encourage further civil actions in this cause.

News Corporation is not serving the public good with their Right Wing agenda. Why is it that Canada bans Fox 24? Please read The Canada Radio Act.
