EPA Regulations against hydraulic fracking

Because we have enough pollution of our air and water around the world. Injecting unknown toxic chemicals into our earth with fresh clean drinking water and realeasing poisonous gas's to the air we breath without analyzing long term effects is reckless and irresponsible. The clean air and water act should apply to all gas and oil business's, companies, and corporations operating in the U.S. and reach out to other country's on this planet to do the same. Research why the process was exempted in the past and decide for yourself. The HBO documentary video "Gasland"  & this youtube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phCibwj396I is a good start.

They are trying to lease land in my state for fracking also. I'm not just concerned for myself, my family and my state, but for everyone.

Regulation has not kept pace with drilling practices. Look at the examples of updating regulations after the fact as in the current economic meltdown. Better to slow the process and let lawmakers catch up, than later when people's health has already been disastrously affected.

We have enough natural and man-made toxins in our water systems as it is. We needn't be fracking more into our resources.

To enforce government oversight of the hydraulic Fracturing process that is exempt from the clean air and water act because of the "Haliburton Loophole".

Because they are concerned about precious clean water and the air they breath being polluted by an industry that only cares about quick profits with little regard to those who live there!
