We did it! The charge against Taylor has been dropped thanks to the185,000 of you who came to Change.org to support this campaign. The District Attorney's office knows she's no criminal. If it wasn’t for Taylor, the abuse to baby calves at the Quanah Cattle Company would still be going on today. That fact is not debatable. You know, I've signed other petitions on Change.org before, so when I learned that Taylor had been charged with animal cruelty for helping baby cows, I knew I had to do something. It's so amazing to know that so many people have read Taylor’s story and stood by her side when she needed it. -Abby

I live in Colorado, and I recently heard about Taylor Radig who was working as an undercover investigator to document cruelty at Quanah Cattle Company. She filmed calves being thrown and kicked around and dragged by their ears, tails, and legs.

Because of her bravery, 3 workers were charged with animal cruelty on November 15. But a week later, Taylor was also charged with animal cruelty!

Respected animal welfare expert Dr. Temple Grandin of Colorado State University saw this footage and used terms like "rough," "not acceptable," and "severe abuse" to describe what was going on. So why is the woman who blew the whistle on this cruelty herself being charged with animal cruelty? It makes no sense. Witnessing and reporting animal abuse is not a crime.

The group Taylor was trying to help is called Compassion Over Killing. Does anyone actually think it's a good use of taxpayer dollars and the time of our public officials to treat Taylor like a criminal who committed an act of animal cruelty? Does anyone think she had anything but kindness in her heart when she set out to document these cruel acts?

Please sign my petition asking Colorado officials including District Attorney Ken Buck to drop the animal cruelty charge against Taylor.

Drop animal cruelty charge against undercover investigator Taylor Radig.

Because of her bravery, 3 workers were charged with animal cruelty on November 15. She witnessed animal abuse and blew the whistle on cruelty to animals. Witnessing and reporting animal abuse is not a crime. She did what was compassionate.

Sincerely,

Was anyone prosecuted or fired? I don't think so . That's why I don't eat meat . People are finally seeing what's going on and soon maybe they will not eat meat. What will all those cruel people do. I'm afraid to think of it.

Thank you for having the guts and courage to expose these 3 pieces of human garbage and I am so proud of what you do and that the right thing was done. But fight to convict this garbage and put them behind bars. Just curious if one should check for abuse in the home. Anyone who can act like they do is pure evil and mean thru and thru and I am sure this abuse is not restrained to these poor creatures but extends to all areas of their lives. God help if they have children and have perpetuated such a temperament to them. There needs to be laws of being able to have surprise visits to any farms or dairies for routine checkups for any signs of animal abuse. I think cameras should also be able to be placed and monitored from time to time. If there is nothing to hide no company would be reluctant, if they are they do not wish something seen. Go after these low life's and put them behind bars for life, and let them see what it really feels like to be a haunted caged and abused animal with no one to turn to or hear there voice for help. Deal with prison justice, the inmates will take care of the rest....

The world will never be a better place for animals or human beings until we learn compassion for all creatures. What is more important than respecting all forms of life?
