Horizontal Hydraulic Fracturing for Oil and Gas is a relatively new practice and has been linked to lowered air standards, contaminated water and other risks to the public.

It is imperative that we take steps to limit these dangers by imposing adequate and stringent regulations on the industry.

As a citizen of the City of Colorado Springs, the State of Colorado and the United States of America, we are guaranteed the right to safe, clean and replenishable water and air.

COGCC regulations do not go far enough towards protecting the rights of the citizens of Colorado, nor do they have adequate staff to do so. It is therefore up to local elected officials to stand up for the safety and well-being of their citizens.

This is the wrong direction for oil production. This is an example of irresponsible govt not doing their job because they're owned by the oil companies. This will destroy the environment, a fifth grader could see this.

My sister and husband and their son live in Colorado Springs. I don't want to see them come to any harm from a source of energy that they say will "Help" us when really it's only hurting us.
