On October 25, 2012 a video was uploaded to worldstarhiphop showing Def Jam recording artist Lil Reese brutally assaulting a young woman during an argument. The woman was punch and thrown to the ground by Lil Reese and his goons. This kind of menacing behavior should not be supported in any way. Our community will not tolerate it.

We are demanding that Def Jam Recordings release Lil Reese from his recording contract. The video was a sad reminder of the nearly two million women who are assaulted each year in the United States. Violence against women should not be promoted in any facet of society. According to "Amnesty International " (2012), "Violence against women is a violation of human rights that cannot be justified by any political, religious, or cultural claim" (Violence Against Women : A Human Rights Violation). This perpetrator must be held accountable for his actions. Further support of this perpetrator will indicated otherwise.

An important message about domestic violence against women of color needed in the AA community. I don't care what a person says they don't have to be hit because you manhood couldn't take it. Women need to stop condoning the violence against other women. Women need to start locking up the men who place hands on them in order to show that it won't be tolerated.
