Remove Ebooks That Promote The Sexual Exploitation Of Children.

    1. Petition by

      Action Against Abuse

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Amazon.com.

----------------

Remove Ebooks That Promote The Sexual Exploitation Of Children.

EVERY child deserved to be loved, nurtured, sheltered, protected and SAFE. NEVER violated and abused.

By selling and profiting from books that promote the sexual exploitation of children, AMAZON are themselves child abusers.

Amazon just removed an ebook that was billed as a paedophiles travel guide.:

"Age of Consent: A Sex Tourists Guide!" by Peter F. Friedmann.

The same author still has several suspect books STILL on sale on the site:

Sex Tourism In Pattaya: A Beginner's Guide (Without The Bullshit)

Sex Tourism In Bangkok: A Beginner's Guide (Without The Bullshit)

These books promote the sexual exploitation of children, and should be removed immediately.

AMAZON SHOULD ALSO REVEIW IT'S  SAFEGUARDING  PROCEEDURES THAT ALLOWED SUCH CONTENT TO BE SOLD ON THE SITE IN THE FIRST INSTANCE.

This is appalling. Books like this are just wrong, and generic appeals to freedom of speech/free market will not help. Amazon would be quick to react if it was a case of copyright violation: here it is something far worse.

selling merchandise that guides people how to sexually exploit children is totally unacceptable, i would not choose to buy from any company that effectively condones this. On a personal level i find this absolutely disgusting and i cannot believe either that such a high profile company would make it available to would be paedofiles. That it has been publishes at all is also a matter for concern.
