Colorado Rockies: Please Make an "It Gets Better" Video

    1. Petition by

      Rick Gold

      Denver, CO

The San Francisco Giants announced in June that they will be the first professional Baseball team to join the "It Gets Better" project after more than 6000 people signed a petition on started by Giants fan Sean Chapin.

The Colorado Rockies should follow the Giants' lead by supporting lesbian, gay, bisxual, and transgender (LGBT) youth through the "It Gets Better" project by making their own video.

      ``` Please rockies make a it gets better video and i will too. I an a transgendered and uniquily inter sexed person and huge fan. I my mother and I collected eery one of your comemorative pins in the inagural season and I have been going to games since I was very young and before you were a team and the Colorado Zephers filled our stadium at the old mile high. Please tell us how it gets better and and show your major leauge support. I am sure that there has been some one g.l.b.t.q.q.i. in your community. I need this because being inter sexed means not identifying as either gender but knowing its ok to love and live baseball no matter who you maybe.
      SIX other pro teams have made a "It Gets Better" video. The Rockies should step up to the plate.
      It gets better, much better for individuals, families, friends and eventually for everyone. The Rockies can take a lead in Doing the Right Thing to make it better!
      As a Rockies fan, I urge you to do this. Not for us fans, but for the kids. They are the ones who need your support and can look to you for strength.
