Refuse to use Colorado resources to assist Federal Intervention of our laws

Colorado has the most regulated cannabis industry in the United States where background checks, applications, and State licenses ensure full transparency and tracking of medical cannabis distribution. As a sovereign State, Colorado has proven it can provide safe medical marijuana access for patients in a tightly regulated and controlled model that provides jobs and tax revenue. Now the Feds want to impose on those rights in Colorado.

Sign this petition to Stop the Federal Intervention by the DOJ and DEA on Colorado Patients and Businesses by refusing to use our limited State police resources to assist the Feds in shutting down legitimate businesses. Obama promised not to use tax payer dollars to hunt medical marijuana and the Attorney General should defend that promise if the President won't. We demand that local police, sheriffs, and State regulators ignore Federal requests to waste our tax payer resources prosecuting legitimate businesses and patients sanctioned by the People of Colorado and their elected officials.

The AG should defend our rights under the Colorado Constitution. According to this Gazette poll, most Coloradans agree this includes medical marijuana laws.

As a state endorsed legitimate business, I should NOT have to worry about Federal Regulations that conflict with my State and Constitutional Rights to run a business that the People of my State have voted to allow.

Because enough is enough. When the DEA censors what medical organizations can publish we know that they are less concerned with facts and more concerned with control. I have a job because of the industry.
