Cleveland Browns GM Tom Heckert has done something no general manager has successfully accomplished since the 1980's, given this fan base hope. Year after year, draft after draft we have been witness to head scratching, mind boggling, and unbelievable picks that challenge our loyalty as fans. It appears after many years of fruitlessly searching, we have found a GM who is not only competent at his job but more importantly good at finding talent and turning this franchise around! Please join me in showing your support for Tom Heckert and the future of the Cleveland Browns!

Heckert has done a great job....good selections through the draft, good FA pickups even on a limited budget from Lerner. The most important pieces of an NFL team are 1.) coach 2.) Franchise QB 3.) GM If you have one of the pieces, you don't throw it away. The thought of getting rid of Heckert has left me feeling about as bad as when it was announced that Modell was taking the team to Baltimore. If the Browns make the very significant mistake of letting him leave, I will wish him the best. It's not like the Browns haven't given up on great talent before... I certainly wish we would stop.(Paul Brown, Schottenheimer, Belichek, Acorsi,......and soon to be Heckert).

A GM that can find useful talent in the fith and sixth round is invaluable

simply put, he has done a good job and more than deserves the chance to keep us moving forward, period we are tired of the constant managerial turnover, enough is enough
