Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who supported getting these signs removed. It has been two weeks since they have been taken down, cruising has not come back, nor will it ever. This is a win for all of Richmond, and it could not have been done without your support.

We at the The Camel look forward to seeing you soon.

      Sincerely,

I frequently work at The Firehouse and the signs are annoying and unnecessary.

Yet another way Richmond City shows itself to be a faceless money focused machine, out to suck it's citizens dry, any way they can, and avoid doing the right thing. You'd think the police would just ignore this old ordinance, and it would eventually be taken off the books. Instead, regardless of any justifiable reason, they decided to use it to steal from innocent people trying to enjoy some of the things that actually makes our city great: its' music scene, and its' nightlife.

These restrictions are unnecessary and hinder local businesses.
