Let 90 year old WWII POW Veteran keep his bees

A friend of mine by the name of John Bacon is being picked on by the City of Auburn. John is 90 years old and is a WWII POW, one of the oldest living POWs in the U.S. John has been a bee keeper since 1953 at his home just two houses away from me. The city is going to take his bees away from him at the next city council meeting on September 17th at 7 PM.

The bees help John cope with his time as a POW and keep him going at 93, not only to relax him, but it is his income as well selling honey and renting his bees. Apparently someone said one of his bees stung them. How did they know it was John's bee or even another stinging type insect? Pass this along to as many people as you can. Lets help support a World War Two Veteran and POW survivor

Because everyone should be able to have their rights, and this man served our country. Also, we need our bees, they are slowly dying out, and if this man has them, then let him keep them. They help pollenate our flowers, and other things.

This man fought to preserve the rights that are being taken away from him. This is completely unacceptable!!! He has EARNED the right to keep bees and anything else he chooses.

I'm a shame to hear what the city of Auburn is doing to John bacon. My mother, Maxine Clarey, the first mayor of Auburn, would be appalled that the city fathers don't have more important things to do than harass a citizen like John bacon. Especially one who is a veteran with such a distinguished service record.
