One too many accidents has occurred at the intersection of Sharon Amity and Castleton Roads and now someone has died.  When my son was critically injured at the intersection in 2012 and spent many weeks in a coma, there was still not enough documentation to warrant a traffic signal on the busy street.  While the city council was certainly sympathetic to our pleas for a safer intersection, the statistics did not quite measure up to the standards that would justify a change.  I wonder if now we will meet those requirements.  Someone has finally been killed there.  Our neighbors stand together in a request for a safer exit out into the world each day - for our children, our spouses, our friends.  Please consider signing our petiton to create change at this now deadly intersection.  Thank you.

Because it is extremely dangerous, the city has proof in their own studies. I know of two nearly deadly accidents that occurred there. It is time to correct this.

One of my son's best friends, Thomas Crain, was injured at this intersection, and it would have been prevented IF there were a light at this road crossing. Why did another driver have to die AFTER his serious collision and others have been seriously injured here to make a change?? Please don't let another driver lose their life or part of their life (being in a hospital or loss of some bodily function) by not pursuing a stop light at this intersection. PLEASE - you can make the difference NOW!

TOO many terrible accidents and fatalities. And I know one family personally that was affected. Serious injuries and 4 months of hospitalization didn't have to happen! At all!

This is important to me because my Son, Daughter in law and two grandsons live in that development. There have been too many accidents on that corner.
