Change.org, What Happened to Sharing?

Recently, Change.org stopped allowing their members to invite Change.org friends to sign petitions. Repeated requests to re-enable this feature have apparently been ignored. This has resulted in thousands of lost signatures on important petitions. We, the undersigned, respectfully request that Change.org reinstate this feature.

Change.org had better stop pandering to ruthless special interests

and quit violating our First Amendment rights to petition and free speech or else we'll take the whole organization for everything

they own, 'cause We, the Vast Majority, shall NEVER conform

to the iron-fisted corporate dictatorship and we shall

continue fighting the noble fight for our animal kingdom,

AND oiur freedom until we achieve total victory,

or until this old Earth is blown to Kingdom Come,

      whichever comes first!!

Change.org, Judgment Day is just around the corner

      (on December 21, 2012)

And so you better change your ways and REPENT!!

This petition to have change.org reinstate the ability to have members invite friends to sign petitions is important because it is very difficult to raise attention to an important matter. I've recently started signing petitions and it seems the change.org site is rather user-unfriendly and it may be that there is a shortage of personnel on the site. I've noticed that items aren't grouped together. Petitions that cover the same topic could be grouped together..

I recently posted a petition about homeland security and there was no way I could find my own petition until I typed in 'homeland security' in the search area. I've signed other people's petitions and would like to ask them to sign mine, but I don't now how to do this. I wanted to amend my petition as it went through before I was ready, and I don't know how to do this. Please feel free to help a computer-challenged person at jerisimmo@gmail.com. It appears that we will have to help each other to have the change.org website be more effective. There also doesn't seem to be any screening or organizing of petitions. I don't want to see anyone's petitions screened out but some people are 'dumping' ridiculous petitions as a joke, like posting a petition to God to lessen a storm's effect (that's what prayer is for), so for petitions like these that make a mockery of the site, change.org needs to address this, and also needs to lump similar petitions together, and also needs to make it easier to find a petition.. Why isn't my petition under any of the categories, like human rights? How would anyone know to type in 'homeland security' to find it?

The net needs to be available to all and not monopolized by a few.
