Many of us grew up in what is now called the Golden Age of cartoons. While many would not take this seriously, there are just as many people who want these cartoons to make a comeback, and who think that the network has really plummeted in quality in recent years. CN should air its old shows, possibly in conjunction with the ones we have now, because many feel that the channel isn't what it used to be, and needs to be changed, not only for us, the people who grew up with it, but also to give the opportunity to kids to find out what real quality cartoons are. Some examples would be Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, Scooby Doo Where are You?, Looney Toons, and Dexter's Laboratory to name but a few. Cartoon Network has made many mistakes over the past few years, and I feel that we, the viewers, should have a say in what we choose to watch. Thank You.

As a side note, I would like to mention that it isn't only cartoon network that has experienced this downfall. The problem is not relatively "local." I have heard from many people that their favorite shows, which were just gaining viewers and popularity, were canceled. So what Im basically trying to say is that if you believe that our general television system needs changing, an upgrade for the audiences of the 21st century, please sign this petition as well.

Keep spreading the word cartoon network fans. and tell people who don't take us seriously that this isn't simply a "nostalgia trip" (no offense intended to chapell patterson). We need to make cartoon network realize that their system of rating shows is flawed and that they should not only upgrade it for the 21st century but also create some sort of legitimate fan-site, where people can come and talk about the shows and give their opinions. That would be ideal.

I feel like as time passes by, cartoons get worse then the last to the point that instead of putting effort into creating something that young viewers would like they instead make something that appears that they did nothing but get high off there asses and hope that something will come to mind. And Cartoon Network isn't the only one with the problem, Nickelodeon and Disney have less cartoon shows then they use too and the ones they have aren't that good either. The point is that we need to educate the next generation on what good quality cartoons look like as opposed to the crap we have now.

This is important to me because the new cartoons are not entertaining and not at all humorous.
