You helped take a bad cop off the streets! In Canton, Ohio, Officer Daniel Harless was filmed threatening to murder civilians during traffic stops. Yes - this happened more than once!

That's when Jeremy Orbach, a student at Northern Illinois University, decided to start a petition demanding that Harless be removed from the force before he actually did kill someone. Over 1,700 people joined his campaign and participated in two days of action - flooding the Police Department's office with phone calls asking that the officer be removed.

On January 11, Harless' pattern of verbal abuse and death or physical threats was too much for the city to overlook when deciding to fire Patrolman Daniel Harless, according to Canton's safety director.

Canton, Ohio Police Officer Daniel Harless was caught on camera threatening to kill a citizen during a traffic stop.

In the video, Harless can be heard saying, “If you scratch your balls wrong, I’m going to pull my gun and I am going to shoot you.”

Harless has had 18 internal affairs investigations since 2001. A hearing taking to decide his fate with the police force has been postponed until December.

Police are not above the law and clearly Officer Harless is a danger to society.

Tell Canton Police Chief Dean McKimm to fire Harless.

A pattern of verbal abuse and death or physical threats was too much for the city to overlook when deciding to fire Patrolman Daniel Harless, according to the safety director.

Safety Director Thomas Ream issued the ruling Tuesday and released the three-page report explaining it Wednesday.

The internal affairs division of the Police Department had investigated three traffic stops involving Harless, each one filmed by a cruiser dash camera. Investigators said that the officer had violated rules for conduct, cooperation with the public and handling persons.

I fear Tyranny cause I live a few hundred Meters away from Nazi Prisons where they tortured and killed citizens as well as the Berlin Wall is round about 2400 meter away where the first person was shot dead just eight weeks after building the Berlin Wall. I also see much of Police around me, because German Misters habe their Office Buildings around my flat. I do not want anymbody to be killed this way at all.

This officer is a threat to the average citizen of Canton. He should be relieved of duty and not allowed back on street duty. Desk job only for the public's protection. After all police are suppose to" Protect" and serve. Remember?
