Call to Investigate Acts of Treason

On September 11, 2012 a film titled "Innocence of Mohammad" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhBoPXEPUsQ) was distributed on the Internet causing Muslim extremists in Libya and Egypt to attack the American embassies and cause the death of two American citizens.

News reports allege that Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center in Florida and Sam Bacil of southern California were responsible for the production and distribution of "Innocence of Mohammad."

They will argue that they have the right to make and distribute the video under the First Amendment's Freedom of Expression clause. However it appears that this is actually an act of Treason, designed to cause harm to the Government of the United States, to cause war against the United States, and to cause irreparable harm to the reputation of the United States.

This is a call for an immediate investigation and prosecutions of those involved in the treasonous acts of inciting war against the United States through the production and distribution of "Innocence of Mohammed," and the alleged actions to promulgate the attacks on American embassies and the death of American citizens.

The perpetrators of this film clearly intended to inflame Muslims of the world deliberately inciting violence against and hatred towards Americans and other Westerners. This is not free speech; it is a cowardly terrorist act that puts Americans at increased risk. It should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

America was founded on freedom of religion. All religions. All faiths or non-faiths deserve respect. What these people did was to knowingly incite a riot. They had to know that they were offensive. You can't yell fire in a movie theater. How is what these people did any different?
