Would you like to see a recreational trail along the inactive Fox Chase - Newtown SEPTA corridor in Bucks County?  This trail would provide an increased level of connectivity with established rails to trails corridors in neighboring Montgomery County.

A "shared-use" trail can be enjoyed by bicyclers, hikers, trail runners, dog walkers, birders, and more. Multi-use trails are community assets that can be utilized by future generations and create more appealing, healthy, and livable communities.

If you would like to see something productive occur along this line that benefits our local economy, health, community, and environment, please sign this petition!

The Bryn Athyn Train Crash in 1921 was one of the most historic crashes of the time and even today. Not only because many lives were lost from our area, but it resulted in prompt nationwide changes of rail car construction standards.
Please help us memorialize this historic event! We would like to raise $10,000 by 12/31/2014 to begin design of interpretive signage and the crash site memorial before the trail opens in the Fall of 2015. We are currently working on the details of the project with Montgomery County. Please make a donation now.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held 6/6/2014 at the Welsh Rd. trail head, which is the former Huntington Valley Station site. To date all rails and ties have been removed South of Bryn Athyn Station. A continuous trail will connect the Rockledge Community Park with Mason's Mill Park in Upper Moreland by Fall 2015!
