Because I invest in the rapidly fading Venture Exchange, and you are taking an action that will be detrimental to investors in companies that trade on the Venture.

I have sold most of my stocks now, and am in waiting mode, like many of my investor friends, that cnnot be goodfor anyone.

Rework the proposal. There are enough obstacles confronting SME's (juuniors) from the flight of capital, European and US debt eroding investor confidence in invstments in general, and juniors in particular, external audit costs, the destruction of the secondary market, institutional fear, and all of that ignoring the basic risks (geology, metallurgy, environmental, inter-provincial registration (geoscientists), that the one aspect that we can control (regulations on our domestic exchanges) are instead controlling and killing our markets. Caveat Emptor seems to be forgotten. Yo ucan protect investors to provide a level playing field, but one can't provide guarantees against a global financial crisis.

As an investor in Venture stocks I feel this proposal is totally unfare. It is hard enough for venture companies to raise capital as it is.

High-frequency trading and no up-tick rule is completely killing the Venture market!
