This ad is very stereotypical and discriminates on so many levels against transgender woman and women of all kinds everwhere, take a look at the commercial for yourself and see how this is damaging and demeaning and how it puts us down in a big way, it is being aired in Australia and New Zealand.

According to the Australian association of national advertisers code of ethics:

"2.1 Advertising or Marketing Communications shall not portray people or depict material in a way which discriminates against or vilifies a person or section of the community on account of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, sexual preference, religion, disability, mental illness or political belief."

Libra should also help fund and setup a organsiation to help prevent transgender suicide and also send out a more positive message that is NOT ok to discriminate no matter who your are, this ad can effect so many people in so many different and very hurtful ways.

This is a gender-oppressive, rude commercial that is blatantly marginalizing people. As a straight woman I am thoroughly turned off and will never by these tampons.

This is deeply offensive to the trans community because it implies that transwomen are not "real" women.

The advertisement was clearly and openly discriminatory against transpersons. The depiction of the transwoman in the bathroom is stereotypical and hurtful, but the tagline 'libra gets girls' is moreso. Implying a woman menstruating is the basis of her femininity is not only grossly inaccurate but extremely hurtful. Gender is not determined by anatomy. Although I am not a transwoman myself, I found myself personally offended by this cruel and discriminatory advertisement.

Terrible, distasteful add. I hate it. There are transwomen who will never know what it feels like to menstruate like other women do and this just rubs it in their face.
