      Jamaica, Jamaica

For decades, Jamaicans have been fed lies, as to why an enjoyed past-time and plant of our soil; criminalise our youths and force them to spend much of their lives in prison. This is ludacris treatment for people of all societies where WEED is still ILLEGAL; given that the properties of this plant could garner insurmountable economic benefits for the Jamaican people.

Over 20,000 by-products, can be made from the hemp/marijuana/cannabis plant and not to mention the tax benefits that an already starving Jamaican government needs. AS, we are now taxing vegetables, meats and patties to ease our economic burden; why not legalise and tax a plant that is already seeped into our culture to help build our culture. Illegal surley is not working so let us try legal!!!

A regulated marijuana industry could bring the necessary economic relief that Jamaicans have been searching for.  Jamaicans are creative by nature so imagine what we could do with a plant which makes durable long lasting flame resistant WOOD. This one by-product of hemp is an absolute need in our nation of BOARD HOUSES!

We will be showing how States; such as, Colorado have implemented medical use of marijuana and how others have decriminalize possession of less than 1oz. In Jamaica, a population of roughly 2 million, very strict outdated marijuana law exists. It is absolutely appalling, that the Jamaican government chooses to turn a blind eye on worldwide Cannabis law trends. Most countries with relaxed marijuana law reports great economic benefits for the government and citizens alike, a reduction in drug related crimes and a reduction in drug dependency. So, why make unnecessary criminals out of a portion of society that wants to produce and cultivate a superior plant product. Yes, I do admit WEED which is smoked can cause a "high" but so does nicotine, caffeine, alcohol and most prescription drugs that are toxic yet their makers and consumers are protected from being CRIMINALS because its legal to make and use these other known and enforced drugs. We are not BLIND We demand Freedom & Change NOW

We the Jamaican people would like the opportunity to develop and hemp industry here at home. Our economy is strapped for cash. The government is overtaxing and already starved nation. We do not promote Jamaican agriculture wholeheartedly, importing billions while exporting millions. We need a superior agricultural product on the market. The future of Jamaican agriculture is Hemp Cultivation. Investors would surface from across the globe for a product already widely advertised around the world in dancehall, reggae and hip hop lyrics.

Hypothetically, If 20,000 person made 1 product from hemp that's 20,000 potential businesses. If each business opened a franchise in all 14 parishes that would equal 280,000 business locations should each location hire 5 individuals then 1,400,000 jobs would be created. This is a very general hypothesis used to highlight the vastness of this plant.

Watch the video from Youtube above to learn of the many products that can be made from Hemp.
